Your plan

The free trial, the plan, and subscribing, cancelling or restoring on a new phone.

Dimewell is free for everyone during early access. When plans start, this is how they work.

The free trial

Every account gets the whole of Dimewell free for 30 days, with no card needed. If you made your account during early access, your 30 days start on the day plans begin.

You'll see how many days are left under Profile → Subscription on the website, or More → Subscription in the app. In the last week, the website shows a reminder at the top of every page.

Subscribing

After the trial, Dimewell is one plan: $7.99 a month, with everything in it. You can subscribe:

  • on the website — Profile → Subscription → Subscribe, and pay by card;
  • in the iPhone or Android app — More → Subscription → Subscribe, paid through your Apple ID or Google Play account.

It's one subscription for your account, so it works on the website and both apps, wherever you bought it. If you subscribed on your phone and the website still asks you to subscribe, choose Check again — it can take a minute.

Cancelling and managing

Cancel where you subscribed:

  • App Store: on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or More → Subscription → Manage subscription in the app.
  • Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or More → Subscription → Manage subscription in the app.
  • Website: Profile → Subscription → Manage or cancel your subscription.

You keep everything until the end of the month you've paid for. Deleting your Dimewell account doesn't cancel a subscription with Apple or Google — cancel it there too.

A new phone

In the app, More → Subscription → Restore purchases brings back a subscription you bought with the same Apple ID or Google account. Signing in to your Dimewell account is usually enough on its own.

If a payment doesn't go through

Dimewell sends you a message, and you keep access while your App Store, Google Play or card payment is retried. Update your payment method where you subscribed.

When the trial or subscription ends

Dimewell asks you to subscribe before you can use it again. Your data isn't deleted: it's all there when you subscribe. Until then you can still:

  • download your transactions as a spreadsheet (website: one button per account);
  • delete your account;
  • sign out.

Complimentary access

Sometimes we give an account Dimewell for free. If yours has it, Subscription says Complimentary and you're never charged.
